LEGO 75192 Millennium Falcon
The UCS Millennium Falcon is the biggest LEGO set ever sold at retail (7,541 pieces, $850 new) and the one that shows up on Marketplace when someone moves house. Sealed, it is a national collectible; open and complete with the figures it is a local sale to a builder; missing figures it is a box of bricks. Three prices, one listing photo, so ask which one it is first.

The ceiling is for exactly this: LEGO 75192 Millennium Falcon, as listed. Priced the way the app prices a target you add yourself: from eBay comps (29) on Sep 19; sells-for is 90% of the eBay median, the ceiling leaves 25–30% after you sell. eBay fees 13.6% + $0.40 + ~$20 shipping.
Is it the right one?
- Set number 75192 on the box and the instruction covers; 7,541 pieces; released 2017, still in production.
- Seven minifigures: Han Solo (young and old), Chewbacca, Princess Leia, C-3PO, Rey, Finn, BB-8, plus a porg and a mynock. They are a third of the open-set value.
- The box is 23 kg / 50 lb sealed; a sealed box that is light is missing bags.
Before you drive
- Ask for a photo of the box front and the set number, and whether it is sealed, open-complete, or open-and-they-think-complete. Those are three different prices.
- Sealed: box seals intact, no crushing or tears, weight within a few percent of the listed shipping weight; a resealed box has glue residue at the tabs.
- Open: the minifigures first (they are up to half the value; check each against the list), then the instructions and box, then the bags or the build.
- Pay after the minifigures are counted and the seals or the count check out.
Bring
- The set's piece count and minifigure list open on your phone (Brickset or BrickLink)
- A kitchen scale if you are buying sealed (weight is the check)
- Cash
What to check in person
- Sealed: original tape seals intact, no crushing, weight right (bring a scale or lift it against a known 50 lb). Tab glue residue means resealed; price as open at best.
- Open: count the minifigures against the list first; then the instruction books (one thick volume) and the sticker sheet; then a built model for missing or replaced pieces (LEGO gray vs a slightly different gray).
- Sun fade on the light gray hull pieces and smoke smell: permanent, 30% off.
- Knock-off check: LEGO logo on every stud; the print quality of the box; clone sets are common for this one.
- Box condition matters for sealed (corner crush, tears) and barely matters for open.

What goes wrong
- Sealed box, wrong contents
- A resealed box with the expensive minifigures removed, or bulk bricks by weight. Weigh it; look at the tab glue; if you cannot open it, price it as open-complete at best.
- "Complete" that is missing the figures
- The minifigures are the value. A UCS set without its figures is a bag of bricks. Count them against the list before money.
- Knock-off sets
- Lepin and similar clones with the same box art. The LEGO logo on every stud and the print quality of the box tell you.
- Sun-faded and smoke-smelling
- Yellowed white and gray pieces and smoke smell do not come out; they are a 30% haircut, not a "used" discount.

Where it sells
- Sealed retired sets sell nationally on eBay and BrickLink for the most; open-complete sets sell locally to parents and builders. Price sealed against eBay sold, open against BrickLink.
- Photograph the box, the seals or the built set, every minifigure in a row, the instructions and the set number.
- Retired sets appreciate; if the sells-for is flat, holding a sealed retired set six months is often the better flip.
Sealed: eBay with the weight and seal photos, shipped in a second box. Open: local, built, photographed on a table with the seven figures in a row and the instructions.
Why this one
High ticket, steady demand from adult collectors, and a set that people under-price when they just need the space back. The sealed version is an appreciating asset if the local number is soft.
