Terms of Service

These terms govern the First Pounce iOS app and firstpounce.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

What First Pounce is

First Pounce finds used electronics listed for sale near you, estimates what they resell for, and tells you the most you can pay and still make money (the “ceiling”). It helps you message sellers, plan pickups, and track what you bought and sold. Every number in the app is an estimate built from public listing prices and our own research. It is not financial advice, not a guarantee of profit, and not a promise that any listing is genuine, available, or safe. You decide what to buy, from whom, and for how much.

Your responsibilities

• You are at least 18 and use the Service for your own lawful reselling.
• You inspect items and verify sellers yourself. Meet in safe public places. Check IMEI, activation locks, and titles before paying. We never message sellers for you and never move money.
• You follow the terms of the marketplaces you buy and sell on. First Pounce does not access your Facebook, eBay, or other accounts and never asks for those passwords.
• You do not resell, scrape, or redistribute data from the Service, share one subscription across many devices beyond what your plan allows, or interfere with the Service.

Subscriptions and billing

First Pounce is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. New users get a 7-day free trial; when the trial ends, the subscription you chose (Pro, $29.99/month, or Crew, $79.99/month) is charged to your Apple ID and renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before a renewal in your Apple ID subscription settings; Apple handles all charges, refunds, and receipts under its own terms. Prices may change with notice through the App Store. Unused parts of a trial are forfeited when you subscribe.

Community features

If you post a “win,” you choose to share the item, what you paid, what it sold for, your handle, and your city. Do not post other people’s information, listing links, or anything false. We may remove posts and suspend accounts that abuse the Service.

Availability

Listing coverage depends on third-party data providers and marketplaces and can change or pause without notice. We do our best to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any particular listing will be found.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, First Pounce and its maker are not liable for any loss arising from a purchase or sale you make, a listing that turned out to be fake, stolen, damaged, or unavailable, or from any interruption of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim. The Service is provided “as is.”

Listing data is obtained from licensed third-party providers; First Pounce never asks for, stores, or uses your Facebook login.
